Alaska River Cabin

Alaska River Cabin

We are long time Alaskans with a family lodging business located on the bank of the Kenai River, offering above average service for our guests. We are constantly being told that we go overboard providing service and amenities that we feel, will enhance your Alaska visit here at our Alaska River Cabin.

Our Alaska River Cabin is located on the South bank of the World Famous Kenai River, at River Milepost 25.6.

Our location is within the boundaries of the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, yet only a 10 minute drive to downtown Soldotna.   Your fishing spot on the Kenai River, is midway between Skilak Lake and Cook Inlet, in an area know as Swift-Water.  This section of the River is popular for SOCKEYE fishing, as the River runs fast, and the fish have a tendency to all point upstream against the current, making for an easy hook set in the mouth.

We’ve lived on the Kenai River for 35 years, and have hosted countless family, friends and guests during that time. Nothing is more exciting than to see a huge grin when someone hooks into
